Stators and rotors are the core component of progressive cavity pumps, which are required to be replaced regularly in order to maintain optimal performance of the pumps. Rotor is the helical metal screw motivated by a motor, and the elastomer stator is the part with spiral inner surface in which the rotor rotates. As a rotor turns inside a stator, a sequence of fixed shape cavities are formed. The cavities will move as the rotor is rotated by the motor, thus the fluid contents will be move forward inside the cavities with the fixed shape and volume.
